Leon Rozen
A senior level pharma and biotechnology executive with over 20 years management and leadership experience in the health sector, pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Leon has worked in senior management positions in Australia, Europe and the US during which time he has led strategy development, set up teams and functions and led major international projects. He has a passion for people development with particular interests in coaching, mentoring and the developing field of neuroleadership.
Leon has experience in leadership and management roles and his strengths are leading groups, facilitating strategy development and developing staff. He has enhanced this experience with further learnings including training in elements of psychotherapy, accreditation as a practitioner of Extended DISC personality profiling and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and is a certified Performance Coach.
Timothy Fish
Dr. Fish is the Senior Director of Medical Information, Scientific Training & Development, and Knowledge Management Services at Alkermes. He is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience, and a unique professional in healthcare systems leadership and worldwide process collaborations. He has launched and supported new medical information departments globally; designed scientific library departments and has an active role in developing the strategic direction for scientific training. Dr. Fish has presented and published on medical affairs best practices and optimizing nurses in medical information on several occasions. In addition to his undergraduate nursing training, he holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of San Francisco. Outside of Pharma, Dr. Fish has extensive clinical experience in patient care: pediatrics, intensive care, and solid organ donation and transplant and continuously strives to advocate for improving patient care. Lastly, he also enjoys volunteering and is a past non-profit board member serving burn survivors globally where he had the opportunity to field assess five hospitals in Ghana for charitable resource allocation and raised awareness for burn care through radio and television appearances as well as served on the American Nurses Association Standards and Practice task force.
Monica De Abadal
Dr Mónica de Abadal is VP, Medical Excellence, Global Medical Affairs at Ipsen, and the EMEA Region President of the Medical Affairs Professional Society, with more than 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr de Abadal has experience in multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, endocrinology and movement disorders as well as operational and strategic Medical Affairs experience in diverse disciplines of medical affairs and product commercialization, such as leading compliance and SOP/policy efforts, quality management systems, data generation, field-based medical teams (MSLs), safety, medical communication & publications.
She has served as a board member in companies specialized in telemedicine and has international Medical Affairs experience in Europe, APAC (Australia) and global positions, including deputy Chief Medical Officer, Global Head of Publications. She currently holds the VP Global Medical Affairs Services group position at Ipsen.
Dr de Abadal obtained her medical degree from the University of Barcelona and entered residency in Anaesthesiology in Hospital Vall d´Hebron (Barcelona) ). She validated her medical degree in the US (USMLE) and obtained an MBA specialized in Healthcare administration from (USF) and a postgraduate diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine (UAB).

Augusto Grinspan
Dr. Augusto Grinspan is the Vice President Medical Affairs, Head of LATAM at Merck KGaA where he leads a team of 150+ Medical Affairs professionals focusing in areas of Neurology, Oncology, Fertility and General Medicines. The scope of his team expands to Medical Education, Digital Communication and Patient Support Programs. Dr Grinspan received his medical degree from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina and he pursued specialty training in Neurology at the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Grinspan was actively involved in patient care and clinical research.
His more than 18 years of pharmaceutical industry experience include work in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and Commercial in various geographies (Europe, US, Emerging Markets); he did work at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and Teva Pharmaceuticals.
