Jan Schadrack

Jan is an MD PhD and specialized in psychiatry and neuropharmacology. In the biopharmaceutical industry he held various Clinical Development and Medical Affairs roles and gained longstanding and profound experience in Neuroscience including rare neurological diseases – having worked across many Neurology and Psychiatry disease areas with Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Biogen, before joining Roche.
Jamie L. Kistler

She has nearly 15 years of experience supporting US and Global cross-functional teams in the biopharmaceutical and device industries across a wide array of therapeutic areas, including oncology, hematology, immunology, women’s health, cardiovascular disease, multiple sclerosis, psychiatry, pediatric infectious disease, and rare diseases. Specifically, Jamie provides support to Medical Affairs professionals in the development and execution of comprehensive strategic communication plans.
Ensuring that patient insights and needs are considered as part of the medical communications planning process is a key area of focus, and she collaborates closely with members of Parexel’s Patient Innovation Center to bring new insights and innovative ideas to her Medical Affairs colleagues.
Jamie is a graduate of Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, PA and earned a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pathobiology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston Salem, NC. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer, Philadelphia, PA. Jamie is an active member of the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) and co-leads the MAPS Patient Centricity Focus Area Working Group with Tricia Gooljarsingh.
CESAR SANZ RODRIGUEZ
/in /by Medical AffairsDr. Cesar Sanz Rodriguez is a medical affairs executive with 19 years of experience in strategic and operational leadership in Medical and Scientific Affairs. Currently, he is Associate Vice President, Head of the Global Medical Affairs organization in MSD’s Mid-Europe region, which includes the midsize and small size countries in Europe. Based in Luzern, Switzerland, he provides leadership for the country and subregional Medical Affairs teams responsible for medical strategy, scientific exchange, congress activity, publication planning, data generation through company-sponsored local studies and investigator-initiated studies, medical information, promotional review and commercial support across different therapy areas. Previously, he held roles of increasing responsibilities at country, regional and global level at MSD from 2001-2014. As such, he gained broad experience across multiple therapy areas, including Oncology, Anti-Infectives, Immunology, Vaccines and Primary Care. Prior to joining MSD, Dr. Sanz Rodriguez was practicing onco-hematology in Madrid, Spain.
A native from Spain, Dr. Sanz Rodriguez received his medical degree from University of Alcala de Henares and his PhD in Cell Biology from University of Lleida. He then went on to complete a Hematology & Hemotherapy residency at Hospital Universitario de la Princesa in Madrid, Spain. Later on, he completed a Master’s Degree on Statistics Applied to Clinical Research at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and an Executive Program in Management of Health & Pharmaceutical Companies at IE Business School in Madrid.
Becky Harmon
/in /by Medical AffairsBecky Harmon, PharmD, MBA is currently serving as COO for Diabetes Clinical Development at Eli Lilly and Company. Prior to this role, she held several positions within Medical Affairs, including as a Director within Lilly’s Global Medical Affairs Central Capabilities organization. In this role, she provided leadership for Lilly’s enterprise-wide Thought Leader Center of Excellence, Global Medical Affairs Launch Readiness, and Strategy and Operations.
Becky joined Lilly in 2007 and, throughout her career, she has held roles in multiple functions and has had experiences on Global and US teams and in both internal and field-based settings. These opportunities have driven her passion for exceptional customer experiences and, with a focus on external trends and industry best practices, she continues to champion the evolving role of Medical Affairs and its opportunity to take on a more strategic and prominent position in the organization.
Becky graduated from Butler University with a Doctorate of Pharmacy and a Master’s in Business Administration. Prior to joining Lilly, she practiced as a hospital pharmacist in the Ascension Health System.
