Medical Affairs plays a crucial role in market access for new pharmaceutical technologies in Brazil. The primary responsibility of Medical Affairs is to bridge the gap between the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory authorities, as well as other stakeholders involved in patient care like advocacy, scientific communication to health professionals, HEOR, reimbursement and pricing support, training, and post-market surveillance. In the context of market access, Medical Affairs teams collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful introduction and adoption of new technologies.
