The PDC provides the strategic direction for content creation, drives a multi-year professional development curriculum, and supports the many great volunteers in the 7 Domain Teams, the 11 Focus Area Working Groups (FAWGs) and other groups in their goals to develop and execute the annual content plans.
The MAPS Program Development Committee (PDC) ensures the organization speaks with one voice, aligning content produced across the organizations with the MAPS Competency Framework and the organizations’ vision for the future of Medical Affairs. PDC structure follows the structure of the PDC Framework, with the seven “Domain Leads” guiding teams that oversee content relevant to Competencies within their relevant Domain. Through this framework, MAPS ensures that meeting sessions, trainings and content ranging from Standards & Guidance documents to white papers to eLearning modules represent the breadth of Medical Affairs, while putting forward strategically aligned resources to advance the Medical Affairs profession.
