Why Attend

Germany’s Medical Affairs environment is shifting fast — AMNOG and G-BA expectations, increasing evidence and data demands, and stricter digital and governance standards. Affiliates are operating under more pressure, with greater need for clarity, role definition, and cross-functional alignment.

The MAPS Germany Chapter Launch is a one-day, CMD-led working meeting designed to address these realities. The programme is shaped with Germany-based Country Medical Directors to ensure that every discussion reflects genuine operational needs for 2026 and provides practical value for leaders working in or with German affiliates.

Agenda Orientation

Current themes under consideration include:

Medical–Commercial Interface (roles, workflows, collaboration boundaries)

Cross-functional medical leadership and DACH coordination

National Priorities for Medical Affairs in Germany (2026)

AI in Medical Affairs – Reinvention or Redefinition? (anchor debate)

Evidence Generation & HTA in Germany (AMNOG, G-BA, therapeutic vs diagnostic pathways)
