FOCUS AREA WORKING GROUP

The Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) Medical Information FAWG evolves and expands the value of Medical Information as a strategic Medical Affairs partner and an exceptional resource of timely and trustworthy information for providers and patients.

Activities: 

We will organize Medical Information workshops for MAPS meetings in the North America, APAC (Asia Pacific – China/Japan), and EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Asia) regions. We develop original content for webinars, podcasts, eLearning courses and white papers. In addition, the working group will periodically contribute cogent and timely content on the Medical Information sector for the MAPS publication, Elevate magazine. Most importantly, we will provide a supportive resource for all Medical Information Medical Affairs Professionals.​

Strategic Objectives

#1 Define the value of Medical Information as a strategic Medical Affairs partner and an exceptional resource of timely and trustworthy information for providers and patients

#2 Raise awareness among Medical Affairs professionals of the value of Medical Information in the biopharmaceutical/device industry

#3 Facilitate the evolving role of Medical Information professionals in response to the changing landscape

#4 Develop a foundational curriculum for Medical Information which provides tools, solutions and digital innovations to lead a strategic partnership for Medical Information
