The Customer Engagement & Scientific Communication Domain and Competencies for Medical Affairs Professionals focus on developing and executing strategies and plans for integrated scientific communications and publications, medical education and digital engagement; sustaining patient engagement throughout a product lifecycle; engaging with key opinion leaders through scientific exchange; and providing evidence-based, scientifically balanced medical information to internal and external stakeholders. The competencies provided in this domain will enable Medical Affairs professionals to maximize the communication and engagement with internal partners, healthcare professions, payors, and patients/carers for the safe and effective use of drugs and devices.
