Medical Affairs Professional Society Appoints its First Chair of the New Executive Program Committee


Golden, CO, February 14, 2020 – The Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS), the premier non-profit global society of Medical Affairs professionals, announces the appointment of Mary Alice Dwyer, PharmD, as the first Chair of the MAPS Executive Program Committee.


The MAPS Executive Program Committee (EPC) provides strategic direction for the Focus Area Working Groups (FAWGs), which develop educational content for Medical Affairs professionals, including podcasts, white papers, and articles for the MAPS magazine, Elevate. The FAWGs consist of member volunteers for the 11 focus areas that MAPS has identified as areas of importance for a high impact Medical Affairs organization and are reflective of external expectations for Medical Affairs: Compliance, Digital Strategy, Evidence Generation, External Education, Field Medical, Insights, MA Strategy & Value, Medical Communications, Medical Information, MedTech (Devices and Diagnostics) and Patient Centricity.
