OVERVIEW:
The COVID-19 pandemic is significantly changing the healthcare landscape. Normally, Medical Affairs organizations rely upon MSL insights to understand changes in the healthcare landscape and identify challenges and opportunities around these trends. However, COVID-19 has shifted face-to-face interactions with collaborator HCPs to virtual meetings and limited introductory meetings with new HCPs. This has made it more challenging for MSL teams to generate and record insights.
The topic of this webinar is how Medical Affairs teams can continue to identify strategic opportunities to improve outcomes for the organization, HCPs and patients despite limited interactions with HCPs.
The pandemic is an opportunity for Medical Affairs teams to use creative ways to help their organizations understand changes in the healthcare landscape, such as how COVID-19 is changing medical practice. Attend this webinar to learn how to generate insights through digitally-based interactions without directly engaging HCPs. We will discuss and share various ways that MSLs can generate insights through digital mechanisms, from attending “live” virtually-broadcast panel sessions to following influential KOLs on Twitter.
OBJECTIVES:
-Identify ways to understand the key trends, such as how medical practice is changing in response to COVID-19, in their therapeutic areas by using insights obtained from digital sources
-Understand ways MSLs can collect insights without interacting with HCPs directly
-Understand how clinical practice is changing and which actions to take in the short- and long-term.
